MARY TOLAND RENWICK
(Mother of Emma Elizabeth Renwick Carlisle)

Below is the grave marker for
Thomas A. Carlisle and his wife Kitty P.F. Carlisle.
It is one marker with their names on opposite sides. It is a beautiful
bright white
marker, despite of the age. I had to darken the photo so you
could read.
They are buried in the Sims-Rogers
Cemetery on Hwy 72 in Union County.

Several of Thomas and Kitty's
children are buried here.
Kitty's uncle, Nathaniel Teagle, died January 5, 1852, aged 78 years.
Kitty's aunt, Mary P. Teagle, born August 7, 1789, died July 13, 1856,
are also buried here.
